What Can You Tell Me About Foresters?

I have been working primarily with Mon Life. I know Foresters is a strong competitor...being fraternal I've stayed away from them. Recently, I've been considering looking into their product but I've been hearing a lot of talk about them as well. Who has good info on the FE product? Or who is a good contact to get me all the most recent info/changes with the FE product?

Foresters used to be an easy company to sell. It had a free critical illness rider, real low rates, real high commissions, real loose underwriting, etc.

Most of that has changed. And they are still a fraternal. And they still don't have any idea what customer service is.

Wrong time to pick them up. There are dozens of great FE companies to choose from.

You might want to take a look at RNA. They were always priced right there with Foresters. After the end of July, they'll be cheaper than Foresters.

Anyone hear the new commissions? Rumor was 10% increase in year 1 but haven't heard if they changed renewals or not. They said the 16th they were going to release the info but I haven't received it yet.

If your commission level is 110% or below, you won't be seeing a commission increase. For those on 115% and higher, you will see it as of August 1st (or so they say).
