What carriers will change a smoker rate to non smoker if insured goes 12 months smokefree?

I'm thinking it would just simplify things greatly to write another company.

I'm sure we've all told this to people who smoke, and say that they are going to quit. in a year we can just re-underwrite you....but how many of these people actually quit. let's be honest.

Easier? Maybe. More profitable for the agent? Yup. Better for the client? Maybe maybe not. If they are in the same healthy they keep the old age premiums and contestability from the original issue date. Is it done everyday? Yup.
