What commissions do you get on term?

Yeah, the company pays a better commission to independents than it does to captive agents.

I've been looking at our special rep (basically an appointed, independet agent) commission schedule. The commissions are in some cases double what I get as a captive, with still the eligibility of a bonus, and vesting.

I like AG's products overall. Since I already know the products, I may just quit, get appointed as a special rep, put a couple major meds in my product portfolio, and go like that.

Logically, it seems like the best way to go, actually.

You are probably correct!

No, its Atlantic Financial. No group in the name. Yes, there are no requirements but as someone else stated when you get higher payouts the support does become limited. You need to decide if you are the type of person who does or doesn't need the support. Ofcourse they also have lower payouts with more support. You can choose. [email protected]

Anywhere from 85-115%.

Most independent agents are somewhere around these commissions with self generated leads or referrals.

I get a lot of free internet life insurance leads and mortgage protection leads, but I'm at a lower contract around 70%.

I work both leads- my own and free.
