What Do You Think of American National P&C?

I am just trying to find out what anyone thinks about American National... I am going to probably be getting started with them in the next few weeks and I'm not too sure what to expect. I am not only new to the forum but to the insurance world as well. Any words of wisdom or pointers are greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Don't know a lot about them....I think they came push the life insurance sells----will have low rates to get business and then gradually increase rates if there is ever a claim on the pand c side.....strong company rating wise though--I think.

They used to have a pretty sorry agent package. I would call some agents around Springfield, MO.

There is a guy in Joplin, MO who got burned by them after 20 years. PM me and I will give you his name.

I know this is an old thread but it popped up. DON"T GO TO ANPAC!! I made that mistake and got burned also. If you're still thinking about it (after 2 years??) PM me and I'll go into more details.
