What Do You Think of American National P&C?

Hi new guy are you looking to get into life insurance selling or what. If so you might have to place this post in the life insurance section of this newspaper.

Things are changing quickly currently you can buy insurance on line and they seem to have a push in that direction. There is even a quote 15 minutes, to get policy.Sound familiar by some other carriers . Direct buy anico Direct is releasing multiple press releases. Anpac has a division that will sell to the public without agents for old cars. The products for the direct marketing on the life side agent can not offer, stickily for home office sales.
add them to Google alerts and you will be amazed. The old product Garden state has a face life to Anico Direct. The web site changes every time you look at it, they offer coverage on line in competition with their agent. Google alerts will give real time information

I am also considering ANPAC.
Are there ANPAC agents on this forum that can share their experience?
Stay away from them. Their management is out of touch with clients and agents. The commissions suck, they base commissions on multi-lining business including life insurance. Their rates in my state are higher than 90% of competitors in both auto and home. Which means you not only can't write new business, but you lose alot of clients with no place to rewrite them--- a terrible situation. You don't own your block. Look at Smart Choice to start up, they seem like a good program, but you will need some good training. Thats one thing the captives do a good job of. If you want a career you need to go independant where you have many companies. Rates very greatly from one company to the next, it is critical that you are competitive or you are wasting your time. I made this mistake.... As did so many with Anpac/American National.
