I will need medication for my euphoria if they keep trying to go down this road. Please do it by all means. It doesnt get any better than this. First I was expecting to see lots of blood on the floor from this bill, then we ended out seeing blood plus the organs from senators in Nebraska, Nevada, CA, Conn, Mass, LA, and Arkansas completely eviscerated and a pile of congressmen running for the lifeboats. If Pelosi and Harry Reid like skydiving without a parachute I am willing to watch them jump. Don't expect any republicans to line up for a watered-down bill if you try to run with reconciliation. Wayyy too dirty.
This chowderhead is totally, totally focused on getting 51 or 60 votes. That is soooooooo inside the beltway, all while he is saying that congress is out of touch and we need to get the poeple involved. 60 votes now would only them a chance to market a trainwreck to the public that is already to shoot them right out of the gate. I am definiteley for it though. Definitely.
The reality is that Matthews is 101% right about the reconciliation process and how it can and cannot be used. What you are seeing here is the far, far, far left tell the far, far, far, far left to lay off the Kool-Aid and sober up. Man, that is rich. I most definitely have a warm and tingley feeling running up my leg now.
Also, loved the bit about Congressmen Weiner talking about sausage-making.
The other thing you noticed is that last week Obama and company blamed Coakley for not standing up to the issues. Now these guys are saying that the problem is that Obama has been detached and awol and what the bill really needed was for him to be more involved. Huh? I mean I understand their point because his approach was to just observe what congress was doing but on the other hand he has had the entire country on this road show for a year now. Now we are being told we didnt spend enough time and emphasis on it.
Too bad Al is off emptying bedpans in Haiti and missing out on all this.

Now thats funny.
I heard this guy on TV literally say ..."Pigs fly out of my ass..." real stand up guy. Glad my kids could hear that lovely comment.
