Well looking for life after Shenandoah. They were great for the less than perfect applicants on the Med Supps, no medication questions, no cardio drug or diabetic drug limits (like Mutual). Approved practically everyone I sent them.
Now that they are basically done, I'm trying to find a company to sell in TN that pays a decent commission, similar to what I was getting with Shen.. 23-25%, with liberal underwriting.
Right now the companies I sell (in the order of my preference) is:
1. Continental Life/ACI
2. (used to be Shenandoah, need a company for this slot!)
3. United of Omaha (only 16% commission)
4. Blue Cross of TN (only 10% commission, liberal underwriting)
5. AARP (only $200 commission, will issue anything and anyone)
Need decently liberal underwriting, and good commissioned product with bank draft advance to replace what Shenandoah used to be. Nice rates would be great but hey you can't get everything Dang I miss Shen! They were great. I also do a fair amount of biz in GA but TN is my main state.
