So if 68% own tow type, perhaps more than suggested own some form of permanent life insurance? And why would owning whole life insurance specifically infer anything about your thoughts on BTID?

Not really. Some are going to be uninsurable and others just started.

Although I bet there were quite a few lies told. I bet even more than 3% don't have life insurance.

Also, comparing it to the percentage of P&C agent, investment advisors and employee benefit brokers who don't own their own product is misleading. P&C agents have to insure their home and auto somewhere. If you have a good income you are going to have investable assets that have to go somewhere, and who doesn't sign up for employee benefits at work?
