What's Your Opinion on Forethought FE?

I am appointed with them, they are actually the ONLY FE carrier with whom I am appointed. I sold two policies yesterday, $1200 in commission! I want to start focusing on this rather than med supps/MAPD's. I can't sell hospital indemnity plans or cancer plans to save my life, but I really feel comfortable with this. I digress....

Anyways, what do you guys think about this company? Are they competitive? Share your experiences....

Get another company to write. Forethought is not a major player in the FE market.

I probably have the longest history with ForeThought of anyone on this forum.
I've been on at least 6 of their company trips, toured their offices many times and even have ForeThought luggage and beach towels. I got everything but the logo tatooed on my butt.

I wouldn't sell their current FE product. It's a dog. The company doesn't have their act together these days at all.

They may turn back around someday. I still love the name ForeThought.

I like Royal Neighbors and Monumental. Monumental pays really fast and has easy going underwriting. Royal has some of the best rates around. It pays to have at least 3 companies in your repertoire!!!

Better choices are going to be Monumental, Settlers, Americo, Oxford, Royal Neighbors, Foresters, 5Star, Assurity, etc.
