5 of the last 10 apps ive written had zero doctors and 3 of them also had zero medications. What do you do in this case? Is there anything specific I should be doing? Obviously im talking about MAPD here.

I encourage them to see a primary doctor so they can start getting some meds prescribed and referrals to specialist so they get their moneys worth.kidding but not really because doctors often want to turn older patients in to frequent fliers.

I have a "go-to, best overall" plan in our area that I recommend based on customer service, dental, etc. unless the client indicates a specific need or desire like biggest giveback, etc.

Yes then I agree with the above poster. OTC, Dental, Fitness, Vision etc.

Aetna's new "Smart Fit" plan has $1200 a year for Fitness expenditures and lower copays, offset by higher T3 and T4 costs. Might be a great plan for them

But a Senior that doesnt even get an annual check up and blood draws? good lord

do a little more fact finding.
find out what their fears/concerns are, and protect them appropriately.

don't just randomly pick a plan put them in it. Have a conversation with the prospect. Is their future concerns with networks? Costs? Prescriptions? Dental?
Do they want to pay a little as possible in premium? Are not concerns at all about MOOPs? etc..

fact find, and recommend the most appropriate plan accordingly.
