Where Can I Expand?

Well I have been doing more investment appointments then normal, averaging 4 a week which may not be big for you guys but is huge for me. Most seem scared of any kind of investment so I pivot to a Moneyguard life insurance product if I don't think they are warm to it. I have been getting posative feedback from that.
I was thinking about trying to find a way to target people who already have annuities since they already know how to be safe in the market and just offer them a better product if I am in a position to help.
I am thinking about buying a billboard in my hometown, it is a really small area and would cost $30 a month. It would be a piece of plywood with whatever I had on it. (TOld you it is in a small town)
But I have not been able to decide what to put on it. Mayeb somethign short and sweet about investments or something about the price of life insurance, or maybe even about medicare.
Thoughts guys? Thanks so much. I am just trying to plant seeds and see what grows. I am trying to find my niche so I can supplement my purchased leads from the company or get to where I do not need them at all.

Are you not subject to pre-approval by the DOI in your state? This would be the first place I checked.

It sounds like you are doing just about everything that you can do with the leads that you have.

It is always a good idea to network with people that have a natural connection to the clients that you are trying to reach.

For example:

If you are trying to sell life insurance to protect mortgage debt then you should try to meet some real estate agents, mortgage brokers, and those types of people.

If you are trying to market to new parents you might want to invest some time in meeting doctors, people that run day care centers, and that kind of stuff.

If you want to market to newlyweds you should try getting in with some wedding planners, caterers, bands, photographers, DJs etc. Can you tell that I am getting married in June and have been exploiting all of these new connections? LOL.

Referrals can be the life blood of your business if you build a strong network to get them. It is a give and take world out there. You have to work out a referral system to get referrals back to the professionals that you got them from.

In my state you would not be able to put this on a billboard unless you were Series 6 or 7 licensed. Based on your previous posts; you are not, Correct.

It sounds like you are doing a great job and have a very strong work ethic which will take you far in this business. I agree with the other poster that you should do the networking like chamber and also lead groups as well as form alliance's with other business professionals that would be a good match. You are going to be very successful!
