These forums are my #1 source for insurance industry news, by far. But I also get some news on LinkedIn from carriers & industry contacts.
As far as other news, I look at a pretty wide variety of sources, but especially my local affiliates for CBS and Fox. For more detailed news of local and statewide interest, I consult Dallas Express and Texas Flyover. FWIW, I don’t read anything that puts up a paywall.

I'm old school. Don't like online magazines that much.
I'm sitting on the front porch right now waiting for the mailman to bring my Life Insurance Selling magazine.

I read lots of insurance sources, but two that come to mind are AM Best [for more of a high level overview] and Insurance Journal. Lastly I read Insurancenewsnet on occassion as well.
Insurance News Net and I follow a bunch of people online who I respect who post articles from all over the place.
