Where To Get Mailers

I have been reading this forum for several months. I am considering working in Final Expense after I retire from teaching next year. One thing I don't see discussed often is where people get their mailers and how much they pay for them.
I am wondering if agents just like keeping this information to themselves or if most of the sources are very similar so it doesn't matter much. I am just curious as to why people are not discussing where to find the best deals in this area.

Leads2success targetleads, MS powermail, are just a few that comes to mind. You can google final expense mailers and get info including samples. If you are starting with no experience I would look into some training first. some companies offer training like securus and efes with a lead subsidized program. There is also the option of joining iliaa dot org . the have prerecorded samples of sales presentations, info on mailer programs, setting appointments and dicounts on mailers

I am starting to like the Lead Connection. The post office nation wide has really slowed down. When I used Main St earlier this year I'd get my first lead back in 10 business days (2 weeks). then all of a sudden it took 15 business days (3 weeks). The Lead Connection is located within a state of where I work. I like the quicker turn around. Their a good company too. Family owned, very friendly.

lots of companies will give you the pieces, such as mutual of omaha, aarp, oxford life, gpm life, americo, etc....you just supply the postage, and for some, pay 3-4cents to get them printed up...then there is also the mail houses, and most do a good job

I've got several samples on my website for both life and medicare, and sell the direct leads at cost on my website for those that are contracted under me at street...

it's not terribly difficult to do it on your own either

medicaresupplementcontracting.com under the leads tab

You need sales and prospecting training.

Talk to EFES or Securus to start.

Field training is an absolute must.

I absolutely agree, let a strong training organization train and give you an orientation of the business...most agents need that before they can really succeed as an independent....there are definitely exceptions, but the majority need hand holding in the beginning.

Amen to that...and they do not re-sell your leads to another agent like some of the other big mail houses do. I really hate to say any one company is best but it would be hard to find better people to work with.

Does MSPM resell leads they have dropped?

I'm thinking they do. But am not starting a rumor.

I've heard claims that some of the cheap aged leads that Securus sells to their agents are the exact same leads that independent agents bought and paid full price for several months earlier with certain direct mail companies.

One agent that called me said he purchased the exact same leads through Securus for $3 that he had bought for $425 per 1,000 dropped just 6-months earlier. It wasn't just the same people, it was the exact same lead with the same handwriting. What disturbed him the most was it even included the ones he sold.

I'm not going to say which lead company since I don't know for a fact that it's true. But if it definitely turns out to be true, I would cut that mail house out completely from making a cent off of me.

Leads to Success is owned by The Assurance Group. I believe they cut cost on the lead because they are mailing the exact same data for LTS as TAG..... therefore cutting your return down...

If you do a mailing with them they won't guarantee that they haven't already mailed that data out before... so... they may be the cheapest guys on the block but they are definitely not trusted by me.
