Where to Invest My Money

Hello All,

Been a viewer of the forum for some time now, although never actually got round to contributing/participating.

Anyway, long story short, I have come in to some money and looking at where I should be investing it to get to the next level.

Been in the biz for 10 years, started captive, drank the kool aid for a while, went independent selling health insurance and well, we all know how that is going. Got into final expense/life insurance last year.

In the health insurance biz I used to spend around $1500 per month on internet leads and it was a pretty easy gig. Of course the model doesn't work for me anymore so I got in to final expense through door knocking. I write on average about $150 a week in monthly premium, have a nice contract with generous advance. But I want to get it to the next level, and obviously I'll need some form of leads/advertising/marketing.

The health biz was easy and the numbers worked out great. But from what I can see life/final expense is a whole new ball game.

I've come into some money (5k) and looking for ideas on where/how I should spend this to get to the next level.

All suggestions are appreciated.

Talk to Todd King here on the forum, he has a few lead sources that may help you get in front of more folks.

Ive never had much luck with telemarketed leads in the past, and they seem pricey for what they are through them.......

Also, not sure about direct mail either. I mean I could be out $400 or so and get no leads whatsoever, thats why I am needing the advice/recomendations.

Pounding the pavement is working for now.....but don't see myself being able to do it forever.

Did I not just say I did not want to pay for their overpriced telemarketed leads?

So you are knocking on doors and only writing $150 per week in premium total? That's like $150 bucks a week? Maybe my math is wrong.

$150 in monthly premium or $1800 annual premium.........give or take a few dollars.
