New agent here. I am ready and willing to go out and knock doors (face to face), walk into businesses (face to face) and cold call (via phone). How do I choose areas, businesses and people to call? And most importantly, what do I say? If I understand right, the purpose of initial contact is to set the appointment, not to make the sale. With businesses, do I build relationships or just set the appointment? I sell all lines of insurance in CA. Thank you.
