I am looking for a market for my auto policies.
Will I be able to go direct? if so, with who?
What about wholesalers, do they write auto?
If so, with who?

In CA go with your typicals like progressive and travelers. I am in FL so I don't know all the companies in Ca. Good luck.

Liberty Mutual and Progressive are some of the best ones down here. Although Geico started up as well...

This OP obviously wants to add carriers to his agency. Geico sucks as a company and are usually direct writers.

I agree, an independent agency that represents a large Number of personal lines carriers... Just because they advertise on TV doesn't mean they have the best price, or coverage.
