Okay:

Who are the companies you need to have in your toolbox for Life and Annuities if you are starting up? Good for the client and good for the agent?

Not focusing on FE.

Is there a better presentation system out there than others? (ie. OnTrack, Reality Check, etc.) to help point out the places and show the cleints where there may be additional needs for LTCi/Life/Annuities?

I don't necessarily want to do seminars but more on a one to one basis.

There are so many companies with so many great products - it's hard to choose sometimes.

Assurity has a wide array of products and strong commissions.

RBC is fairly competitive on the life side and great on the annuity side.

Sun Life and Allianz have some awesome annuity products.

North American is my go-to UL company - love those guys!

West Coast Life's underwriting and pricing is magnificent.

Minnesota Life's participating WL policy is very strong.

Transamerica and Prudential tend to be very popular. A couple of ILIAA agents have told me that they're getting a lot of mileage out of Aviva lately.

If I had to walk out of the door tomorrow and start my career over again selling life and annuities, I'd do it with Allianz, Aviva, West Coast, North American, and Assurity.

Mass Mutual for participating WL. Guardian for WL and DI.

As for annuity companies, sign up as you need based on who has the best trips. :skeptical:

What about term Genworth?

Here are some of my favs in the order of what I like best:

UL- Lincoln financial, john hancock, mutual of omaha, trans, north american

WL- Ohio National, Mass, NYL for strong dividends. John Hancock, cinci life, ohio nat, mutual of omaha for smaller DBs or when not worried about CV as much.

Term- Cinci life, lincoln financial, west coast life, john hancock, ohio nat., rbc, pru, met

Annuties- I dont necessarily have a favorite order, it depends on rates usually-
Lincoln financial, aviva, trans, pru(VAs), american general, ING, pac, sun, west coast, north american

I know that Alliance has some nice looking products out there these days from what I hear, but I refuse to do business with them. (maybe i will one day)
They are way too tarnished in my eyes from the numerous lawsuits against their terrible indexed products they peddled, and the placement of them in unsuitable situations for clients.
They where even banned once from selling indexed annuities in their home state!
I have seen some of the old EIA contracts that they where pushing. Unfortunately most of the blame should be on the brokers who recommended these products. They mostly did so because alliance was paying super high commissions, double what other companies where paying.
My favorite alliance annuity that I came across was the EIA that had a surrender period of "never"!
But do your own research and draw your own conclusions. I had a Trans wholesaler tell me the other day that Alliance is making a lot of good changes to their VA lineup...

But I regress...
All of these are good companies that I do regular business with. Some contracts are better than others for me, but they all are good.
Good luck to you!

Oh. And I use naviplan, but only for more complicated cases. For simple life/annuity cases I dont use planning or presentation software
