Whole Life Without War Clause

Will any carrier write whole life policies for members of the military with no war clause? I am most interested in policies from mutual companies like New York Life, Guardian or Northwestern Mutual. Thanks!

Been in the business for 42 years and have never seen a WL plan with a war clause.. Back during Vietnam, if they had a low draft number, we wouldn't issue them. The AD&D rider usually has a war clause but not the WL policy.

Guardian does not have an acts of war exclusion. (Or they didn't 10 years ago). The reasoning was that they started as company during the Civil War for Union officers. At least that's what they told us in training

I do not have an answer re Whole Life. I did research this a few years ago on GUL and term. Another question you will want to ask is if the WP will waive premiums if disabled due to act of war or war zone. Not all do.

In my case I bought Protective. They pay both death and waiver with no regard to war.

NYL offers WL coverage for active duty troops up to a certain limit.... I think it was around $100k. (at least they did 7 years ago)

GPM does also. It is limited by rank though.
