Why Every Agent Should Buy A Calling List

The effectiveness of cold calling has been debated on here quite a bit. At my heart I'm a telemarketing guy. I sell lists, so I'm even more biased, but the fact of the matter is that cold calling does work. It does not work for all industries or all products, but there are a number of excellent reasons to cold call I went ahead and outlined in the video below. I'd love to hear your opinion even if you disagree.

I strongly agree Josh... Telemarketing is so labor intensive that typically companies cannot afford wasting precious calling hours. The list is one of the few things directly affecting the viability of the calling effort.

I work in commercial so we call off renewal dates as P&C is purchased on an annual basis. Not sure how much it would apply to FE or Life and individual health

Quality of leads may be some of the big reason why people don't do as much cold calling. Crappy companies have ruined the lead marketplace....
