Why is It So Quiet?

Seems slow on this forum recently. Is it because:

1. CMS and carriers on vacation and no new regs have come out?

or

2. You're busy dealing with Obamacare client problems?

or

3. You're busy preparing for 2015 or on vacation yourself?

4. Shhhh, i'm hunting wabbits.

Interesting article, Hamben. Thanks for posting.

In regards to why it is so quiet, I have been busy with group renewals.

We also just poured through 6 months of commission statements, and now know which carriers haven't paid. I didn't want to even get into that Vietnam until now.

I eventually got paid on all of mine. Didn't write that many (by design). All were off exchange, also by design. Took as long as 4 months to get paid on some.

The bigger issue was all the admin hassles. Some people didn't get their policy and ID cards until a month after the eff date.

Billing has been a big problem.

Lost 2 people because the carrier dropped the ball, didn't draft for a couple of months and then cancelled the policy. One is a major snafu that happened at the beginning of a 6 figure claim.

That is not going to be a fun battle.

Bob sounds like with your situation above maybe you need the witness protection program LOL .... HealthGuy

Why would you sell a plan from a company that provides such bad service? I assume that will be asked of you by an attorney at some point.
