Why Stay Grandfathered when You Save 12k for Not?

sorry...I thought we were talking about individual...50 and up groups are a whole different animal....move them....

This is a 76 person group. Premium goes from $38000 a month to $37000. Why does it benefit the large group to stay?

In the real (non-government) world, being "grandfathered" into something is usually a positive thing. Not so with Obamacare.

By the way, aren't many employers going to cancel their group plans at the end of 2013 and tell the employees to sign up with a federally subsidized Exchange-based individual policy?

I hear Obama is already working on an app for the iPhone and Droid phones. It will help you find the nearest bread line that also has a health insurance subsidy signup.

How true, I have to explain to every client that 'grandfathered' is just the opposite of the normal context and really bad for them.
