Let's just say one of your kids (son or daughter) decided they wanted to become an insurance agent specializing in final expense...

Put in two years as a captive agent, if for no other reason, to get the parlance of the industry, and find out a little bit about their future competition.

Hook up with FEX and learn everything they can from Travis.
 
work closely with someone who is already successful in the business and learn everything you can from them. At the end of the day it's about running appointments. The first couple hundred appointments are the hardest.

Presentation will do the trick!
 
I would strongly suggest my child eventually find their way into med sups due to the renewal factor and also into annuities because of the large commission aspect.

Cross your fingers that the Bible is open and the tv is off when you walk into the prospects door.imho look for run down houses but not too run down, wheelchair ramps and the unhealthier, fatter the better. ( usually).
