You Want to Succeed, Right?

Very well written, Rob.

What's old is new.

And, "there's nothing new under the sun."

The more we base our life on principle, the straighter our course will be.

Principles that have been proven true for thousands of years are pretty darn near guaranteed to work.

Work 8 hours selling insurance like you would expect if you were paying someone a full time wage to work for you.

If you owned a business and hired yourself, would you have been fired already?

What would you expect of the person you hired in terms of reasonable prospecting activity levels each day? Are you doing it?

If you can't answer both positively, you're in the wrong business.

Now that's an interesting thought.

Rob--- good blog -- the only thing I would add is the impact of "diligence" I would encourage people to read Proverbs and see how many times diligence is stated or implied. It's there a number of times for a reason.

I've said this at almost every Norvax event. If you worked for you, would you fire you? Or give yourself a raise? Your choice.

And yes:

Diligent hands bring wealth, lazy hands bring poverty, it's in proverbs, not sure where exactly off the top of my head.
