What would be an ex of routine foot care? or routine chrio? just going without a medical necessity? to have your toe nails clipped?? or back scratched? lol

Which type of medical coverage are you referring to? Under Medicare although routine foot care is not covered, foot care for diabetics is covered. I am not certain about the rules on chiropractic, but usually the visits are limited.

I would suggest doing some research on foot maintainance for diabetics, which at times does include nail clipping. t hall

Foot Care: Medicare generally does not cover routine foot care. However, foot care services may be billed if you are actively treated by a doctor for a medical condition affecting circulation of the legs or feet.

Chiropractic: Medicare covers manipulation of the spine if medically necessary to correct a subluxation (when one or more of the bones of your spine moves out of position) when provided by chiropractors or other qualified providers.

A subluxation is a displacement or misalignment of a joint or body part. X-rays or physical therapy provided by chiropractors are not covered.
