Can't wait until the 19th. As mentioned, if the people realize they are NOT voting for a Kennedy replacement...the Repubs might just win it.

Ted Kennedy's death caused a vacant senate seat and is being voted on next Tuesday. This is a very weird situation because someone was appointed to fill it till the election takes place.
It is absurd to think a republican has even the remotest chance at winning this seat. Then realize this is an absurd election, so the slimmest of slim chances exist, though still not very likely. Pollsters have trouble with it because it is a special election and it's hard to figure out who will REALLY vote vs those who say they may vote. If you look at the people who WILL vote, it appears to be a dead even race, but from there, as you move into the probably will and might votes, the race shifts to the dems.
The only reason this is close..... health care bill. Not for that, it would be a blow out election.
The dems have already implied that it could take up to 30 days to certify the election. Translation - if Brown (the republican) is even thought to have won the election, delay the certification to allow time to get health care through before he replaces the temp guy.
