2020 Death Claims, how many?

Just had 2 beneficiaries call me today. One with Gerber GI that was 3+ years old thankfully. Had one contestable this year with SofN. The company nor me could get in touch with the claimant for months and then all of the sudden she sent me the info we needed. Writing for medical records now. I don't think the client told me or the PHI anything that was not correct so I am not worried at all.

A few per month.
All paid.

Just had had one. She had been a client for about 20 years. Since the apps (Oxford) I wrote on her and her husband I have written a couple dozen family members. Paid claims on her husband, two sisters and a cousin. Her niece is a funeral director that sends me clients regularly.

I delivered her oldest son's latest policy (Sons) yesterday, did the claim paperwork, and wrote the other son for the first time. (SNL)

The funeral director, her niece, called to thank me for the flowers. And give me another aunt's number to call. And the beat goes on.

Claims are sad as we can really get to know the families. But the reality is they create new business.

That's what I call working it tight.

Don't know about working it tight. Just getting lazy. The flowers cost about $120. The little SNL policy I wrote on her son is a $600AP. The aunt and uncle will be minimum $1,200AP, most likely higher. Then I expect to write their kids, grandchildren and so on.

I live in an ag area. I have worked in the fields as a kid. I am an old dude now. I will let you youngsters climb the ladders for the fruit at the top. I am good with the low hanging fruit and the stuff that is so ripe it falls into my basket. And I don't spend money on ladders. :1biggrin:
