Thanks for sharing... I am sure that it was the kind of tragic accident that will haunt him the rest of his life.

I met a man who once shot his own wife while showing his buddy an "unloaded" rifle. We all three laughed as he told the story, bullet went through 2 or three rooms before lodging in her thigh. She survived but he died a thousand deaths... she saw to that.

Just so the heathens among us understand, Christians avoid speaking of the good things they do lest we trade our reward in Heaven in exchange for our pride. But, I would be curious how many of you have done volunteer work like Markthebroker or otherwise sacrificed to give.

And by the way... we do need more gun training courses. Do you realize how many shootings in this state end up being injuries only... any body ever heard on " center mass"?

Until you've been there, you have no clue what abrasive is... so Hawskter is fine with me.

The forum is a bit like sales... as we talk and discuss you try to see peoples points of view and communicate in a respectful manner even if you disagree.

As far as apologies, your digging in the wrong hole for that. Many of the guys on here are old and cranky... they really don't apologize. Guys are more like agree to disagree and then go out for a coffee (I'm not a drinker).

Nothing wrong with pushing buttons, I love the heavy banter, but there comes a time to take a breath, laugh a little and look for common ground, or change the subject. Stand your ground stay the course, but attempt not to leave bodies in your wake.

Our world is lacking these graces at the moment, the forum which is populated by professionals that spend most of their time speaking with people... it should not be lacking in those graces.

I guess you'd have to be on the receiving end to have my perspective. I've been insulted up one side down the other, accused of R, and some wanted to drag Mom & Dad into it. I thought I've been friendly, attempting to keep a light edge on things. You really think I was the most aggressive in recent threads? I did use H E double hockeysticks once.
