A kind of off the wall question.

When did it hit you that being in the insurance industry is a business. I was a huge Kool aid drinker and had a hard time leaving a company and local office. I loveded the company and the crusade.

What happened was when I sent a letter of resignation to the company and office the only response was a letter from the company legal department letting me know their rights and my responsibilities. No phone call or anything. No verification on anything.

Nothing personal. It's business.

What could it possibly be besides a business? A fraternal organization? An NGO?

When I first went off on my own, and went months before seeing my first commission check.

I've started business before, so I knew what to prepare for.

These psychopaths tend to only care to the extent that it benefits them directly. Beyond that, you're nothing more than chaff to them.

Those traits describe corporate executives in any industry, not just insurance.
