A Small Agency ?

Lol I love how people compare vs other people. When I was a wealth management advisor at compass bank I was ranked 2nd (in an avg income community of under 100,000) in the nation for overall investment premium. I don't go for a swim and compare myself to micheal phelps. But keep trying swim faster to keep up ;).

I'm on the captive side but my mentor (and the guy that brought me into the business) has since gone IA. Started a scratch agency about a year and a half ago. I know, for a fact, his numbers look like this... The agency is averaging about 40k written premium a month. That's just him and a part time sales/service guy. He himself doubles as sales/service and his wife helps with the service side. Because he is IA and the book is not yet gigantic, his retention if probably pretty high. 97-98%??? This is a 100% personal lines book (maybe he has some tiny commercial autos or something mixed in just to help out his PL clients). He just told me about a week ago that they are the #1 producing agency in their cluster this year. So, 40k a month equals $480,000 written a year @ 97% retention is 465,000. That puts them just shy of a Mil every two years. So if they stay the same, they will hit 3 mil in about six years. That's being conservative though. I would assume that as they grow they will bring on more CSR and Sales staff and probably reach 3 mil in less time. But then they will have more overhead obviously. Now he started a scratch agency but brought a ton of contacts over with him. He has a good pipeline of referrals coming in. So here is an IA, doing pretty well, representing a dozen companies and you are out performing him with a captive book 3 to 1. I'll tell you what, if you give me a piece of that, I'll move to Texas and bust my ass working for you. I could retire in 5 years!!! :twitchy::D:nah:

You just lob numbers out of left field dude. #2 advisor in the whole nation & he leaves to start a scratch P&C agency????

I see recent posts of yours asking how to get more life insurance sales?? and you were previously a #2 investment advisor in the nation??

I see posts of yours about using door hangers to generate business....and this is from a previous " #2 investment advisor in the nation "

That would be like Michael Phelps asking how to use swimming goggles...

get out of here & stop attemping to indoctrinate people with unrealistic expecations of what they can write. flake

#1 Solar system captive". haha. And Todd, I don't care I'm comparing myself to my friend. I was only trying to point out how goofy you sound right now.

Lol oh boys...

1st. Yes ranked 2nd in the nation. Compass bank paid me 35,000 in commission for 35 million in annuity premium. That is why I left. The broker above me made 10 times what I did just off what I wrote. But they did send me to Jamaica for a week.

2nd I don't write a lot of life, but I sell a ton of annuities.

3rd... Ya dip sh*t of course I am going to ask about marketing strategies I know nothing about. It's called education and you idiots sound like you get schooled everyday. Lol ok I've had my fun. Off to work ;)

Oh on a final note if you douches wanna put your money where your mouth is we can have a third party hold some Paypal funds and see who is better at selling P&c. And verify the size of my book. $1,000?

Low & Behold....I've confirmed what the top producing Farmer's agent in TX writes (and it's less then what you claim you write) and his agency isn't in Mansfield....so it's not you.

--enough said--

alas...my hunch was correct. Maybe you should work Lowery for more referrals?

Happy Selling!

The only thing more amusing than some keyboard warrior beating his chest is someone wasting time to confirm it is BS. :D

I've seen this guy's arrogant posts a handful of times now & each time I keep wanting to call BS but I don't bother. Well I succumbed this time...fortunately it only took but 4 seconds of my time to text a colleague. People could be reading his posts about BS numbers & think they're doing something wrong...or not marketing right. When in reality he's just spewing junk.;)

Lol, ok so what's my agent code? And sales count. You're such an ***. Anyone can google and find out I'm in mansfield.
