A Trump Presidency & Life Insurance & Taxes

I think we saw with Obama care how bad things can be when one party owns all of government.

It will be just as bad going the other way. Maybe worse.

I'm not really sure which side of the fence I am on this year, but I don't want to see one side own the whole ball game. I'm not an Obama fan, but I'm smart enough to see that most of his failures have had at least something to do with our moronic, bought and paid for, congress.

Donald Trump in New York: Deep Roots, but Little Influence

‘I Don’t Need Money’

Mr. Trump says he has no need for banks.

“I don’t use Wall Street much because I don’t need money,” said Mr. Trump, who said he is worth $11 billion and has $1 billion cash on hand. “I do my own financing.”

While the article in question is clearly political in nature, that quote certainly makes me believe that Trump understands how to collateralize his own holdings in order to create his own financing... probably not unlike using permanent life insurance.

Sure, he may be doing his financing in other ways - probably private financing with private investors - but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have a decent amount of insurance in place on his life.
