Does anyone currently work with them or have recent experience working for them representing their auto and home products?

How competitive are their rates?

Do their home or auto policies have any "quirks" or "sweet spots"?

What kind of reputation does their claims service have?

I have noticed in a couple of older threads people have said AAA would be a good place to start in P&C, but it seems as though those comments are in regard to AAA California.

I'm with AAA Missouri in Southwestern Indiana. The Auto and Home rates are very competitive. We beat SF and Allstate day in and day out. Plus, you have the added advantage of people coming to you for Membership. If you get in the habit of quoting everyone you sell a membership to, you shouldn't have any problems.

As for being new to P&C, it would be a great way to start. Few other places start you off on a decent salary. I'm new to the agent position (as of Nov. of 2010) but have been with the company for almost 2 years and love it.

AAA Missouri is grouped with ACE which is headed by AAA of Southern California.

What office would you be working out of?
