AARP Car Insurance

Funny when I heard how the AARP actually got started...who would have thought an insurance company could have come up with such a brilliant marketing strategy

I've been with AARP insurance for my cars and home. I did find them lower priced initially but there are other cheaper companies in the market as well. However their customer service is very good, and that alone compensates for the few dollars I might (or might not) be paying in excess. 2 years ago some youngster backed his car into my wife's and drove away leaving her stranded outside the supermarket. One call and less than two hours later, her car had been assessed and towed away for repairs. We were kept updated about the car and got it back less than 2 weeks later during which time she had a rental car at her service. I don't mind paying a few dollars more for that kind of service.

Customer service is something that I am most concerned about while choosing the car insurance. I will surely give them a try and see what is in store for me..
