There is a balance, if you want too many things on your wish leads the leads will be over priced and you won't be able to make a profit. If you over filter you get no leads.
As far as affiliate leads go - they are what they are, but if you do not have an affiliate program it is simply not possible to generate mass traffic. Affiliate leads are without question lower quality as you are paying people to round up the masses.
A "fair" balance is the key and a "fair" return policy to make up for any discrepancy in agent expectation.
I have leads I buy for $100, and leads I buy for $1 - it all comes down to being able to measure performance and conversions with a consistent procedure, this is where 99% of agents will fail (implementation, consistency, and measuring the results).
