An acquaintance is writing an article on this. These states have figured out that they need to pay us. However, besides knowing that they are miserly, I don't have the numbers. Anybody write in these states and can give me a breakdown? At least for the major carriers?

California
Colorado
Minnesota
Nevada

Nevada is dead. Sierra Health/HPN terminated all independent agents. Anthem is like $10/mo per policy. Nothing happening here...

KG I have a friend that writes in MN...After 25 plus years of writing individual medical insurance he is finally walking away from it. No money to be made in MN.

NC has only 2 carriers, Cigna is paying $0 and only available in 5% of the state. The other, BC is still paying; but they aren't adding any new agents/agencies. From what I hear, they are reducing their agent count.
