ACA Vs Private Healthcare

I dont know if you guys get fox were you live. But they just ripped Obama a new one the other night. One of the topics was America's complete and utter rejection of Obama Care/ ACA.

I don't know about you but I saw a lot of positive results from the effort. I am not an Obama Fan but I give credit were it is due. They have had millions of enrollments here in california just from last year's efforts and I think 21% of them per people under the age of 30 which is fricking amazing. That age group hardly ever gets health coverage for obvious reason.

The "premium" they submit for coverage partially funds the exchange which can be used to pay for care for healthcare of the "poor"

Yes it is shifting the burden to the younger generation but I feel that is happening anyway with Social Security.

So my concern is what level of care they get through the ACA and how do you think it measures up to healthcare from the private sector?

IMO the private sector will always provide better coverage because of competition.

You got fox news in CA? Thought it was banned.

I just asked my daughter for $100 to help pay my health premium, she told me to fly a kite. I guess it depends on who you ask.

I saw it on Facebook but ya pretty sure its available for us in CA.

Just the rates for for Healthcare is #$%#$^%$

800+/m for one person WTF. I thought the ACA really helped a lot of people that cant afford that but thats just me

The ACA is not some "Federal Clinic" it is private insurance used to pay for private medical practices. You pick the plan you want HMO, PPO or some other O.

I know, I just hate it when people say that Obamacare took out private insurance. It still exists!! They just act as puppets now.

If you are a certain age and make under a certain amount you can get it for next to nothing in terms of premium. I personally dont consider that private because blue cross wont give you anything unless you pay their rate.
I had a couple younger friends paying almost nothing for coverage. referring more to price and coverage over network etc...

I am not implying that it took out private carriers. I am interested in your opinion in wait times for care. will we turn into canada?

How many of the 8.5M reported by the Lying King came from CA?

You must watch CNN and NBC.

I guess you can get those networks in CA.

Cash for Clunkers also made cars affordable and HARP is helping people who are upside down stay in their homes.

What a country.
