I dont know if you guys get fox were you live. But they just ripped Obama a new one the other night. One of the topics was America's complete and utter rejection of Obama Care/ ACA.
I don't know about you but I saw a lot of positive results from the effort. I am not an Obama Fan but I give credit were it is due. They have had millions of enrollments here in california just from last year's efforts and I think 21% of them per people under the age of 30 which is fricking amazing. That age group hardly ever gets health coverage for obvious reason.
The "premium" they submit for coverage partially funds the exchange which can be used to pay for care for healthcare of the "poor"
Yes it is shifting the burden to the younger generation but I feel that is happening anyway with Social Security.
So my concern is what level of care they get through the ACA and how do you think it measures up to healthcare from the private sector?
IMO the private sector will always provide better coverage because of competition.
