ACAexpress.com

I was about to go in and input my ACA clients into the ACA express system, to get a jump start on the OEP but it seems the software won't let you save clients without entering all of their information including income level. I'm wondering f it's worth inputting some fake info for those I don't have income levels for yet?

Also, just curious how the rest of the agents out there plan to market ( or are currently marketing) their client facing websites for aca express.com and health Sherpa ?

TONS of direct mail for my guys. Can't wait for it to get started. Definitely fully prepared this year. URL s on all mail pieces, but we are sending them to our site, which when they click the quote link, will redirect to those 2.

The client info can be entered without the income but it will need to be done thru importing of the form I attached and leaving the info off that isn't available.

In the dashboard: Applicants > Click "Import" at top right > Select a User to upload the applicants for, Enter source of leads, choose file to import  Click "import"

Ning from HealthSherpa here. We will have pre-loading soon (full applications).

In addition, we've launched the following in the last few days:
1) Default the insurer filter to the insurers you are appointed with on your consumer link.
2) Compare plans side by side, construct proposals - select multiple plans, view them side by side.
3) Email, link or print quote proposals and search results to your consumers - just use the buttons at top right. If consumer enrolls, it's under your NPN, of course.

Full pre-loading will be in place in the next week.

Thanks!
Ning

Ning, we appreciate your hard work and ongoing updates! But I think you should have posted this in the http://www.insurance-forums.net/forum/health-insurance-reform-forum/healthsherpa-t67451.html thread...the thread that's dedicated to YOUR system. Agreed?

Seems reasonable Allen, and I have no issue in that going both ways but as it is wont happen I don't think..

To his points...
1) Default the insurer filter to the insurers you are appointed with on your consumer link.

According to CMS rules and guidelines (I can post the pages and sections if anyone wants to verify) the display of plans cannot be based upon compensation to the agent/agency and thus what is described is not within the guidelines WBE's agree to. Are their creative ways to sort and such? yes, but omitting purely because an agent is not appointed is not something CMS is OK with.

2) Compare plans side by side, construct proposals - select multiple plans, view them side by side.

Standard, us them and most others do this in one form or another

3) Email, link or print quote proposals and search results to your consumers - just use the buttons at top right. If consumer enrolls, it's under your NPN, of course.

There are other benefits/features we have though not going to at this juncture provide competitive analysis for the obvious reasons.

Quick clarification - the insurers are not omitted - the insurer filter can be cleared. This is a case where the federal and state guidelines work against each other - agents in many states are not allowed to market carriers they are not appointed with, whereas the WBE guideline requires having all carriers available to the end consumer.

You can see a similar mechanism at work on eHealth and GoHealth's portals.

I was told I could complete an app front to back 10-15 minutes, true or no? Are we going to have to tell clients to create a HC.gov account to complete app? Where will the client pay the first premium?
