Accident and Health License and Appointments

I know that with a Property and Casualty License in California one could sell health insurance. Do the health insurance companies demand or prefer a Accident and Health License as well in order to obtain an appointment? Thanks in advance.

Technically you are correct. However, I was unable to convince at least one carrier that my friend (P&C only) could indeed sell insurance.

The easy thing to do is call licensing for the company you are looking at.
