Advances On Debit Cards?

You're very sensitive lately Greg.

Maybe you need a "Safe Space", one that you can have with you at all times. :twitchy:

I don't think my response showed that I was sensitive. After selling FE successfully for 22 years straight a person gets tough or gets kicked out of the arena.

I see your pic. By the way, how did you learn how to do that pose? LOL

Not my pose. That's you in your "Safe Space". :twitchy:

Why are you being so hateful to me Greg? :err:

It's disappointing how agents spew untruths up here, then when it's pointed out that they are missing something in the conversation they get offended and start talking in a hateful manner. Newer agents hear these inaccuracies and then they start making some decisions with bad information.

I clearly stated, more than once, that I was referring to bank issued debit cards (like most of us up here have and use), not prepaid debit cards (netspend, green dot, metabank, etc.) which are usually used by people who cannot even have a bank to accept them as a customer because they've overdrawn previous accounts, never paid up, and left the bank holding the bag.

Yet some people either didn't read all the posts in this thread before commenting, or they just want to let off some steam, or try to discredit someone.

Things like this lower the credibility of this forum, which we all enjoy participating in.

Yet you tell people they're wrong when they tell you from 1st hand experience that with many banks, when your card expires every 3-4 years, you have to update the info with your debit paid prescriptions. You're giving false info. I'm referring to checking account debit cards.

Give it up Monkey. Let him put a bunch of debit/credit card business on the books. Then, we watch the balding process progress as he pulls his hair out a couple years down the road.

I shared earlier, as well as Allen, how our banks handled it. I asked earlier for a couple of posters to share there experience and they never responded except one. Are you reading all the posts to this thread? I even called a few banking institutions and posted their results up here. I actually put forth the effort to find more info and called Wells Fargo and JP Morgan (Chase) and shared the info up here.

Agents don't have to be advanced on bank debit cards, they can be paid as earned. But don't you think that before a carrier sticks its neck out on advances for bank issued debit cards that they would have run the numbers on persistency first? That's just good business, not sure why you are over looking this, after all we're all business owners of our own insurance practice....whether solo or leading a team, right?

I can't really add anything more to this discussion. Since you don't write for SL this will not affect you anyway.

Have a good day!

Hey Rouse thanks for the comments. Remember we're not talking about credit cards being advanced as they have terrible persistency. I'm talking about bank issued debit cards tied to a legitimate banking account. I've mentioned that several times in this thread.
