I have a novel idea! The best way I think to get started is to actually W-O-R-K during business hours instead of being on the forum (which u do not get paid for). I just looked and there are more people logged onto this "getting started" section than any other section in the forum (except for the GENERAL forum).

Maybe if people would actually work on their biz during working hours and jump on here before or after hours (to learn), a person might "get started" alot sooner.

I realize I sound like the pot calling the kettle black since I am on here right now as well but I just had a few minutes to spare before doing my next webinar with a potential client. ;)

Disclaimer: I have always been a self-employed person but fairly new to ins., so I will not feel bad if yall take my recomendation with a grain of salt. :D

If any of the agents on here during the day are preparing themselves by learning all they can then they deserve credit for that.

Many people jump in without a clue, which always results in failure. Now as for the rest . . . lol

robliano, I CONCUR! Yes they deserve credit for coming here to learn....heck, I did too but I now have a J-O-B and only get paid commission when and if I make a sale. With that said, I listen, learn, and do what I am told by other successful people in my company/this biz., and then, AND ONLY THEN, do I hop on here for more knowledge and information.

Noone has yet to tell me to "hang out" on the forums during working hours to be successful! We all know what it takes. Get out there and do it and then come back here after hours and learn from the experts! That's all I am trying to say.

Had I posted on a forum when I was new I'd have gone bankrupt. About 10 hours a day was setting and running appointments. Those who post on here during the day do online business and have renewal income.
