Advice for my New Position

I work for a very prominent company that has a huge client base of P&C policies. I was recently offered a position to sell life insurance out of this very large book of business. I will be the only life agent with this company in the state. This book has hardly been tapped and I was looking for ideas and advice on how best to tackle it right away. I won't be prospecting my own clients but that of other P&C agents. The demographic of the book is probably 40s and up, married, homeowners, with kids and grandkids. Very ideal for life insurance. I have a good array of products/solutions to offer but I'm thinking of picking the low hanging fruit first in Final Expense and Mortgage Insurance and expand on it with more complex solutions in the years to come. Thoughts?
