If you use Aetna for FE, are you using them as niche carrier? If so, what are the niches.

Do they take direct monthly billing?

Do they have true Social Security Billing on bank draft?

Do you get a definitive decision at the end of the phone call?

What are the positives of doing business with them? Negatives?

What are the positives of doing business with them?

Never had a good experience with their customer service department

Negatives?

It would be a great carrier if they would come out with a far better product and less useless customer service department.

For the first 2 1/2 years of my final expense career everyone was accepted, and you could fill the application out with crayon and they wouldn't care. Turns out that's not an effective way to run an insurance company and nowadays there's just not much use for the product.

I have not written Aetna FE in several years, but my agency is picking them up.
Do they still have the same nice health niches like thy did years ago? Such as being OK with Nitro/Isosorbide for angina and diabetic neuropathy so long as <40 units of insulin per day?
