If anyone could give me some info about Aetna NAP it would really help out. I have a future client who has this currently. Any info would help. Thanks

From some other website:

"The National Advantage Program (NAP) offers access to contracted rates for many medical claims that would otherwise be paid as billed under many indemnity plans, the out-of-network portion of managed care plans, or for emergency/medically necessary services not provided within the standard network. The NAP Network consists of many of Aetna's directly-contracted hospitals, ancillary providers, and physicians. The Network also includes hospitals, ancillary providers, and physicians accessed through vendor arrangements where Aetna does not have direct contractual arrangements. Aetna does not credential, monitor or oversee those providers who participate through third party contracts. Since there are a number of factors that determine whether a discount will be given, Aetna is unable to guarantee any level of discount under this program. Basically if you have this and area not in your home area and need to seek treatment, if the provider would regularly be in network for someone living in that area, it is possible you would get the in network rate rather than an out of network rate therefore saving you money."

Sort of sounds like a point of service network.
