AFLAC Quote for 69 Yr Old Lady

I talked to a lady today in Houston, TX and she mentioned that she got a quote from AFLAC for 10k 10yr term for $25.00 a month. She does have some health issues. She's taking insulin, HBP meds, HC meds. Does anyone know if she has a shot of getting approved with AFLAC? It just sounds to good to be true. Thanks.

Im assuming its for FE thats why u posted it here...if thats the case, why in the world would she want a term policy? Rather its true or not is a moot point....she should be getting a WL policy!

I'm not sure how their underwriting is with insulin-dependent diabetics, but I would imagine possibly a decline on a term policy with the insulin usage. Did she say if the other agent went through the health questions with her?

@anyone - who is contracted with AFLAC and can look up how the questions are stated on their app?

I agree with TDFnCali on that she'd definitely be better off with a SIWL policy, but then again, we're not the ones writing the check. She could just be looking to have something small and cheap in case something happened sooner than later.

I'm not in TX but the odds are the app wont even be sent in..and if does wont be approved. Couple red flags...age 69..and an insulin dependent diabetic is a no go in NJ and Pa at least. So, probably not a shot.. :nah: but not able to see the TX app.
