As you suggested, my agents will make a lot more money with their commissions doubled and the ability to transition out of the free lead program. We are keeping the contract intact for the most part as explained in the video.

Truth is, sometimes honest businesses make mistakes despite the best of intentions (ie, New Coke, the Pontiac Aztek, low calorie fries from Burger King). The key is to read the market reaction and weigh the outcomes, and pivot quickly if the intentions do not materialize. This is definitely what happened in this case.

Regarding your original post, here are some recommendations of other free lead companies to explore. Keep in mind that there will be some sort of give and take regarding compensation, book ownership, etc., for the privilege of tapping into a lead system at marginal or zero expense to you. You can always use free lead programs to get your training down before spring boarding to going independent:

Peter Roberts - look him up on YouTube. He runs a W2 opportunity for remote final expense telesales. It's an hourly plus commission opportunity. Last I checked, he uplines to Jeff Root who is also a class act in this business.

Senior Life Services (Vero Beach) - look up Justin Vom Eigen on YouTube. He runs a very successful division with SLS. They provide free leads to agents like our agency and have done it successfully for many years. Justin is good at selling remotely and would be good to partner with.

DigitalBGA: This is a good choice if you're looking to start as a broker and buy your own leads. Digital has been one of the longest operations offering telesales final expense as focus. They also own a few call centers that provide free leads to agents - you may want to enquire if it's possible to do that program from home.

Final Expense Direct: Kim Wilhelm owns one of the longest-running final expense call centers. They offer in-house and remote free lead sales opportunities. I met their sales trainer at an in-person event I held and think they do a wonderful job with their operation.

You need to check out Joe Ciaccio at Ciacciocrew.com

He's legit and offers a standard release with several lead programs.

Don't know if he offers free leads though. JD might know.

Joe would be a great choice, but he doesn't do free leads. Ben Boman does though.
