Agent of the week?

In all fairness, sometimes you have to jaywalk to save someone laying in the middle of the street. Plus, we elect Presidents on both sides of the aisle with much greater crimes committed than helping a person with their prescriptions

HAHA

You think an agent can get away with even the little any of the politicians do

We are the scapegoats

CMS does things we cant regularly Even Ins carriers do

But the agent is hung out to dry

Just like trucking companies get away with murder but the trucker gets it for everything, At least it was that way in the 90's last I seen

sooo am i still agent of the week?? i , ane many i know, use canadian pharmacies.. all the time.. with zero incident
SunsFan, understand that you wanted to help your client but there are soo00 many mistakes here that you really should take a step back and reconsider. If you ordered the drugs and something goes wrong (the wrong drug is sent, the dosage is wrong, the pills are beyond their lifecycle) You just opened yourself up to an E&O claim and legal/criminal issues. Your client will never remember that you were trying to help, just "my agent told me these would work". And if you really wanted to help lower the cost of the drugs you need to use NeedyMeds or DrugsRX or on of the other cost savings sites and let your client place the order. You do the research for a coupon or refund and let them collect the receipts: you might want to even send in the receipts in order to get your customer the rebate or refund. I use to get $150 or so per refill rebated back through the MFR website and was able to do the same for my Mom's Xarento

How many agents do you know that have been charged for rebating? How many agents do you know that have paid a premium or fixed a billing issue directly with insured?

What if he saves them money on their cable bill?

Whatever happened to that group that pitched lowering their cable, electric, gas, etc bills and then selling them life insurance and annuities with the savings?

It was all the rage. Haven't heard anything about it in a couple years.

They still out there?

Caveat, not an agent.

Sorry, I am very, very slow on the uptake. Of course!, this is in the FE Forum (Not the Senior Forum). This is a Life Insurance discussion, not a Prescription Drug Plan discussion. Saving a person $850 per month on their medication bills leaves them more able to pay a premium for a $10,000-$15,000 burial expense plan.

just an fyi.... if these meds are sent to the client,,. she is instructed to go to her pharmacy and they verify meds are fine.. no brainer..
