Five pages of responses to your initial post from whom I presume are licensed agents. Not a single one of them agrees with your actions, for very good reasons. Can they all be wrong? One cannot learn anything, who knows everything. Be wise, Grasshopper.

You talk to enough people about it you will hear of more problems Diabetics for instance can have big issues with different forms of metformin

Drugs can have different chemical compositions dep on whos making then Metformin, for instance, the variations can affect people very differently

I had a client several years ago on metformin for year but got really sick in the stomach and then come to find you the prescription he picked up most recently had a different maker due to a shortage and this was the reason

The thing is this YOU dont want to be responsible for people who are not close to you for things that can be real, Imagined or otherwise

Plus you would be surprised or who might turn on you just to save a couple of dollars even, might be the one you least suspect

Again, the issue here is not obtaining the meds or even the overseas aspect. The major issue here to me is REBATING.

Right but if their issue with the meds would lead to complaints would lead to investigation would lead to the discovery of rebating

OP may say who would report me for rebating so the point is any number of issues can lead to rebating coming to light

The most likely scenario is that the next agent in that home, and there will be one, will out the deed.

It will go kinda like this, "Mrs Jones, I see you are with overpriced insurance company. They are a good company but they just think a little too much of themselves. I can get you the same coverage for $20 less per month or $5K more coverage for what you're paying now".

Her, "well, that sounds nice and all but will you pay for my medicines too like the guy with overpriced insurance?"

She sends in another card, responds to another ad, etc. Then she tells the new agent, "my last agent bought my medications for me, what are you going to do for me?"

Nothing may come of it but that's an easy way for it to at least come to light.

EDIT: I think JD beat me by about 5 seconds lol.

That's true too I guess my point is the end can come from many dif directions

Either way, its a stupid thing to do

Also there is really no reason if one needs a deal that badly there is already a problem
