Agent Success Stories

Today, I had bacon ... for dinner!

This weekend I discovered Buffalo wild wings with buffalo dry rub and Blue chess dip is the only something like 4 carbs

I good buddy of mine drive a truck in NYC and make in excess of $200K with his overtime.

My father retired over 15 years ago, I don't know the exact amount but well over 100K

Back when I was a kid maybe late 70's he they used to have a deal they would punch each others time clock and get overtime without working sometimes

Yeah... And considering who controlled the garbage industry in NYC in days gone by (and maybe still do) there were a lot of guys that had "no show" jobs.. Such was the way of doing business..

Just got a policy settled - right before the cutoff for payout - otherwise it would have been another week to get paid on that.

Thankful for clients who pay annually and respond promptly to requests for documents

And this is a policy that I was able to help a client extend their term plus a level premium - they had a decreasing premium and their term was about to expire in a couple years

After a rough week last week (what felt like following up with avoidant procrastinators and time wasters) I got more leads and set more appointments than I’ve ever set before in 2 days.

I got barely any resistance over the phone and same in person.

Only downside is I had a shit ton of driving - I left at 8:30 and didn’t get home till 10p

I submitted approximately 2500k in premium

NOW I’m realizing I’m on track to make more in a day than I did in 2 weeks at my corporate job with an advanced degree

Still can’t wrap my mind around it.

I’m mentally drained and scheduled to go back to same city toMorrow with 4 appointments booked

I almost walked out of an appointment (yeah I have no clue wtf is my problem)

But anyhow the couple claims they couldn’t remember placing the inquiry (still denied Even at end of presentation) and said she wasn’t buying any mortgage protection because she and her husband already had insurance.

Then she starts ranting about how insurance companies make you pay in and you get nothing out., how her husband has over 20 meds just had cancer Etc

I’m thinking the worst - hella expensive quotes of which they’ll fall out of their chairs and break a hip

I was about ready to leave then somehow I realized I should inquire about her current policy and when was the last time she met with her agent.

Then that’s when the magic happened

She, unlike most clients I see, had her policy with some random company and never saw an agent for an annual review. On top of that her term was about to expire in next couple years, the price would go up significantly and she wanted a permanent policy.

Ended up helping her with a final expense application

You stopped talking / presenting about what you want to and started listening to what she wanted.

Ended up helping her with a Simplified Issue Whole Life application

Fixed that last one for you.

Congratulations. Not just for the sale but also for listening for their wants. You may have lost the Mortgage Protection sale but won a client.
