Am I being set up for a scam?

Super Genius
I received this email, but something about it doesn't ring true. It doesn't mention my name, and it wasn't addressed to me directly (the envelope data seems like it was addressed to a list). Other than age, no personal data is provided.

The last line is a challenge, like it's going to be some sort of sales pitch if I answer.

Good Day
Do you have any marketplace insurance that would be suitable for me? Even though I'm almost 90 years old, I'm not eligible for Medicaid or Medicare. The following are some of the items I require in the policy.

It is best to have PPO insurance. Without a recommendation from a primary care physician, I should be able to see specialists at large hospitals such as John Hopkins hospital, MD Anderson, Mayor Clinics etc.

-I frequently travel and require coverage in Texas, Louisiana, Arizona, California, and Illinois.

Less than $4,000 should be the annual maximum amount paid out of pocket.

I need the insurance to get started by December 1st.

Are you up to the task? Do you have a plan that would meet the above requirements?

Thanks

Sounds like a sneaky pitch from an ACA FMO.

Johns Hopkins and Mayo Clinic misspellings are clear enough for me that this is not legit.
At 90 years of age, throw a premium number in the thousands and see how he/she/it responds

The premium alone says the person is either completely clueless about the cost.... or a scammer.

Im 40 and would kill for a $4k per year premium.

They’re asking for that to be the Max OOP, not premium.

If I’d gotten an email like that back when I was 40, I might have taken the bait. But the internet was still in its early days, and email scams weren’t nearly as sophisticated. This email would go in the little trash can now.

You definitely don't want to get scammed. In this scary world today, you have to be careful.

I'm happy to help, though. PM me your social security number, birthdate, full legal name, mothers maiden name and your bank password. I'll look into this and help you out.

Hope this information is helpful, cause I sure would hate to get caught in a scam. Let me know what you find out. Gotta go, need to by some more mask and get my 9th booster shot for COVID-19 before the next right-wing up rising. See you at the Friends of Hamus protest.
