Am I Covered?

While at camp cutting trees for firewood one of them twisted and fell against my truck. It's still drivable but the cab, the door, and windshield have damage. Will my Comprehensive coverage cover this damage? :1mad:

It should. Falling object. If you were paid to cut the trees up into firewood and your vehicle isn't business-rated then maybe they'll want to deny coverage.

Seems like a pretty simple comp claim to me. While at camp sort of implies that he is not business and a tree falling on the vehicle would seem to be covered by comp just subject to their deductible. Not a lot of room for much disagreement.

This is precisely the reason that comprehensive coverage is part of your policy. Acts of god, sand blasting, road debris, falling trees, and hitting an animal. The extra positive about comprehensive claims is that they often bring a lower deductible, if not, then they still cannot and will not affect your future premiums as a result.
