FE clients aren't going to stop smoking to get an insurance policy... if they won't stop to keep from getting cancer.
I’ve been doing this six months full time, and I have already seen a remarkable number of folks on Oxygen, standing next to their “no smoking - oxygen in use” signs, smoking their cigarettes.
I smoked cigarettes. I quit 18 years ago. It was my 247th attempt. It is a very tough addiction to crack, and I agree - no one ever quit smoking to get a lower life insurance premium. On the other hand, we all know that plenty of folks have lied about their smoking to get a lower life insurance premium. This sounds like company sponsored clean sheeting with an extended contestability period that, without further clarification from Americo, possibly sets the client up for a recision down the road due to “fraud.”
